25 JUN	Making a difference as an international school
	Southville International School and Colleges (SISC), now on its 19th year, is one of only two international schools in the Philippines created by legislation. On July 24, 2006, the Philippine Senate and the House of Representatives then headed by Sen. Manny Villar and Cong. Jose de Venecia, Jr. enacted RA 9493 recognizing the international character of Southville International School.

	The Capital Market and Entrepreneurship Center of SISC formally opens its online stock trading facilities to students.

12 FEB	SISC Represents Phils. In UN Simulation
	Southville International School and Colleges sent delegations to the Model United Nations Congress held in Qatar. The students represented the Philippines in the said event.

23 OCT	Southville, Scholastic Launch English Learning Center
	Southville International School and Colleges in the Philippines tied up with Scholastic, the world’s leading educational company, and launched an english learning center.

03 OCT	International School in the Philippines, Opens First Capital Market and Entrepreneurship Center
	Southville International School and Colleges in the Philippines launches Capital Market and Entrepreneurship Center to empower students and entrepreneurs by providing them trainings and seminars. This is first in the Philippines done by an academic institution.
