May 20, 2006 - Michael Drews, CPA, a Camarillo-based CPA firm, has partnered with Cintronics, a Ventura-based software consulting group, to form a new company, Business Systems Solutions, that has been granted the status of Certified Microsoft Dynamics partner. This certification allows them to sell and distribute what was previously known as Microsoft Navision Software.
After opening his doors as a CPA in Camarillo in 2004, Drews wanted to offer more than just QuickBooks based accounting and financial services to his customers. After a careful survey of the market, he selected Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Microsoft Navision) as the best choice for an upgrade path for small to medium sized businesses. The venture was ready to launch when Drews formed a partnership with Cintronics, an experienced Microsoft Dynamics consulting group.
Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Microsoft Navision Software) consists of a group of business software solutions aimed at consolidating various management functions and improving performance analysis. As a business grows, they may acquire many different software programs for a wide variety of operations and functions. Microsoft Dynamics is a way to bring all of these points together into one integrated package. The software covers a very long list of business functions and allows for growth within each discipline, which is now offered by Business Systems Solutions.
After only one year in business, Drews’ enterprise has a dozen clients from San Diego to San Jose who’s combined annual revenues top $500 million. They have also demonstrated the qualifications to be awarded an official competency in Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision (Microsoft Navision) and have demonstrated such fast growth that Microsoft assigned them a personal account manager. “Our goal is to offer growing central coast businesses the opportunity to experience a painless software upgrade path. We’ve found that when a business starts to outgrow its off-the-shelf or homegrown software, workers start keeping their own data files. We can take those disparate applications and put everything together in one integrated package that everyone has access to,” says Drews.
Business Systems Solutions, located in downtown Camarillo, is a Microsoft Dynamics reseller specializing in the Navision ERP software package.
