The South Beach conference is recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and by attending the week long conference; Adams has gained greater knowledge of the latest advances in clinical dermatology and patient care.
As South Shore Skin Center’s Cosmetic Nurse Specialist, Adams is responsible for cosmetic consultations as well as procedures such as Botox, Restylane, Collagen and laser treatments at the practice. Adams gained greater knowledge in the most cutting edge practices in clinical and surgical dermatology, aesthetic enhancement and practice management.
Key areas of the conference included: advanced certification courses in Botulinum Toxin (Botox), new filler substances; laser, light and radio frequency workshops; advanced photodynamic therapy techniques; advanced clinical and therapeutic dermatology updates; electronic medical reads and digital imaging solutions as well as a risk management workshop.
The conference was hosted by the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
