The Chevrolet Tahoe is a premier full-size sports utility vehicle. The 2008 model is a carryover from the previous year, when it was overhauled comprehensively. It now has a finer driving feel; greater power and improved fuel economy.
The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe comes with a choice of engines –a 4.8-liter, V8 engine that delivers 295 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque, and a 5.3-liter V8 that has 320 horsepower and 340 pound-feet of torque. The Tahoe Hybrid, which comes equipped with a 6.0-liter, V8 and can tow between 6,000 and 8,200 pounds, is also available.
Some of the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe’s features are trailering receiver/equipment; 18-inch, lightweight, polished aluminum wheels; cruise control; StabiliTrak electronic stability control; a tire inflator kit; tire-pressure monitoring system; two-speed transfer case for the 4WD; assist steps, and locking differential.
