March 30, 2007 - Leslie McKerns of McKerns Development, a Florida based strategic PR, press, marketing and media relations company, is seeking submissions representing great tropical design projects. Submissions can be made in Architecture, Development and Interior Design. McKerns is the Real Estate Editor (Architecture, Design and Development) of CitySmart magazine, http://www.citysmartmagazine.com, and a professional writer and publicist for the architecture, design and development industry.
The magazine showcases regional, national and international development and design projects with a local tie. If you have a project or room that qualifies and you think it would be right for the luxury lifestyle readers of CitySmart magazine, McKerns would like to hear from you. “Currently, we’re in the market for fun, with a Summer Fling issue—and we’re seeking submissions on great fun interiors and rooms; entertaining backyard getaways, fantastic pools and outdoor rooms.”
CitySmart Magazine is South Florida’s luxury lifestyle publication of choice, capturing the excitement, energy and intrigue of South Florida’s elite, appealing to the affluent, educated and influential reader. The magazine can be viewed online, but rather than having a static file, the pages of the magazine can be turned, viewed and read.
McKerns interacts with local, national and international stars in Development, Architecture and Interior Design, conducting interviews and writing features about trends in the development and architectural industry and recent and upcoming building projects in South Florida.
“In recent issues, I wrote about the latest in projects and developments in downtown Ft. Lauderdale, and lifestyle resort hotel condos in Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale Beach, “ says Leslie McKerns. “We were able to feature the work of Stiles Development Corporation, Garcia Stromberg Architects, Falkanger, Snyder, Martineau & Yates, EDSA, Trump International, and Adache Group. We feature the Morikami Museum in the latest issue, as well as important green and sustainable projects.”
“We promote excellence in design,” says McKerns. “The key at CitySmart is we highlight only the most interesting architectural, interior design and development projects in South Florida. The design captures the imagination; our story development and glossy photography hook the reader.”
McKerns asks that submissions be made by e-mail, with photos included. Photos can be low resolution for e-mailing, but will need to be available in a high resolution 300 dpi to open in a 5 x 7 minimum format. Submissions should include project information, photo credits (firms must own rights to reproduce photos) project highlights and interesting feature notes.
