We perform plays about injustice and others that highlight the diverse groups that make up the Camden waterfront. The only requirement is that each play is firmly rooted in reality, and inspires passion in our company and our audience. Theatres have often been pioneers in reinvigorating embattled neighborhoods. The South Camden Theatre Company, a not-for-profit theatre located in Camden, New Jersey in association with Heart of Camden, a not-for-profit redevelopment organization, announces the groundbreaking celebration for the new 99 seat Waterfront South Theatre located at 4th and Jasper Street in Camden, New Jersey.
