There are some general rules to product conception. A product must be versatile to a large group. It must provide a measurable value to its owner. The product design should fill a missing gap or create and support a new market. Some have said just make a product that is cheaper, lighter or stronger but this is just enhancements and not creation. The creation of Tailmo fills a missing piece in the social accessory market.

We were asked why we would take time to create Tailmo; it is a rather simple answer. We wanted our party cups to stay cool and to not spill, so we set project goals to provide cooler or hotter drinks, near unbreakable construction and magnetic attraction. The red party cup is an iconic fixture among many people; even songs have been written about it. But it is not without its faults/drawbacks. The key drawbacks of the disposable cup are that they can easily spill, crack and they get warn when neglected from talking and not drinking.

Tailmo extends the usability of the classic red party cup. Insulating the party cup while resting in the hand or on a vehicle, beverages are free to stay cold or warm when needed. Testing of Tailmo kept our drink 20F degrees cooler over a 5 minute period. Neo magnets allow our cup/holder to attach to ferrous metal surfaces like hoods, tool boxes, lunch boxes, trunks and tailgates. A rubber ring was added to the bottom of the cup. It provides stopping power so it stays in place while not in use even on angled surfaces. The rugged double wall construction serves two purposes. First it adds significant strength to the design, because it is expected that Tailmo will be mishandled. Second the walls are sealed forming the insulative barrier that was previously mentioned.

Our product must be safe to use and must be reusable. That is why we required our product to be healthy for consumption, so Tailmo is 100% BPA free. Used as a cup and a cup holder, Tailmo will get filled, refilled and spilled on which means it should be cleaned. Dishwasher safe construction allows for easy clean-up. Used as a cup, it can be used for a lifetime as a social accessory.

With all its features our cup/cup holder shows its versatility for its owner. Tailmo is strong, attractive, healthy to use and promotes social experiences.
