April 21, 2009 - Solar Velocity, LLC, a leader in web development and interactive marketing, was named one of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce's Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for the seventh year in a row.
Cobb County businesses were nominated in the early months of this year, and an independent panel of judges evaluated the nominees based on criteria published by the U.S. Small Business Administration. After carefully weighing the companies' staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales or unit volume, current and past financial standings, innovative products and services, responses to adversity, evidence of contributions to aid community projects and overall management philosophies, the panel selected the 25 businesses that most embodied the Cobb Chamber's commitment to strengthening the economy and promoting the community.
One of the fastest-growing interactive marketing and technology services firms in the Southeast, Solar Velocity is no stranger to the prestigious list.
