January 27, 2008 - A soccer website based just outside of Atlanta, Georgia is a bit of a phenomenon. What started out as a hobby with a few pages of fun soccer information has become a world wide “nesting home” for soccer players and coaches around the world.
www.SoccerWebsite.org was started several years ago and has since grown to a huge collection of not only training and coaching information, but also “just a fun place to hang out”. It’s 2008 make over will include full soccer coaching material as well as more “fun soccer” pages.
Mike Primer, one of the sites contributors, said, “Most soccer websites are really pretty boring. We wanted a place that was not only educational, but also fun. We are adding soccer games, soccer art and just cool soccer stuff.”
The 2008 remake of the soccer website will take a full 12 months according to Primer. The contributors and designers of the site work part-time on the project and it’s more of a “hobby” than a living.
One of the larger additions to the website will be the new “world wide soccer directory” which will contain listings of every soccer related website in the world.
