The creative branding image for the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau was created by Mering Carson, agency to notable California based companies such as California Tourism, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, and Disneyland Resort. The Mering Carson philosophy builds a relationship between the consumer and the brand and appeals to the buyer on an emotional level. For Monterey County we ask these questions reminding people why they visit us and encourage them to come back: Can the mist mystify? Can it whisk us away to otherworldly realms that aren’t worlds away? Can spring breezes cast a spell? Can the salt and sunshine make worries disappear and transform us into kings and queens of carefree? Can the air be an elixir? Can oxygen, sea spray and sunshine create a heady potion that wipes away the winter blues and sooths spring fever? Now’s the perfect time to plan your escape to this magical, mystical place. With truly unheard of deals on over one hundred of the best hotels, resorts and attractions of Monterey County, it’s time to take your travel plans off hold. Visit SeeMonterey.com This combination emphasizes the brand identity of Monterey County and underscores and encourages travelers to come to Monterey County, now, so they don’t miss out on fantastic deals being offered.
