Video matrix switch is designed to simplify the task of routing video input from multiple computers to multiple displays (monitors, plasma screens, projectors). Each input can be routed to one or more outputs, creating a cross pattern of interconnecting configurations known as a video matrix router.
Some of the enhanced features include a 32 x 64 configuration, XVGA and CAT5 in and out complete with stereo audio. In fact, SmartVM is currently the only company to sell switches that support Video, Audio, Infrared and RS232 on a single unit. You can find SmartVM Video Matrix switches installed in command centers, control rooms, boardrooms, educational environments and entertainment facilities. You will find them in any application where information from multiple computers is being shared. SmartVM Video Switch units will accommodate up to 32 PC’s or laptops routing information to 64 displays. You control everything through an easy to use interface using RS232, Infrared or TCP/IP.
Aside from large multi-port VGA switches, SmartVM is offering a brand new line of smaller 4x4 matrix switch units designed for digital high-resolution DVI and HDMI components.
