October 21, 2008 - Since early 2004 Sirius Mining Corporation (SMC) has been conducting exploration activities in the Payne's Find area of the Yalgoo Mineral Fields of Western Australia. Payne’s Find is situated 420 kilometers from Perth on the Great Northern Highway.
Both the geology and location of this historic gold mining area make it a prime site for exploration.
An extensive field survey has now been conducted.
SMC’s field survey report documents and maps the results of an exiting gold anomaly and potential emerald deposits.
The results also indicate the opportunity of other mineral deposits, including nickel, molybdenum, platinum and uranium.
