  • San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2014 - Sintaro Village 2020 an investment by CPC Danville and Hope Enterprises, Ethiopia announced the "Sintaro Art Bash- Transforming a Village Together" event to be held May 3 from 6:00 to 10:00PM at the Danville Veterans Hall. The Art Benefit Bash will be an opportunity to purchase a wide variety of art by acclaimed artists while raising money and awareness for Sintaro Village 2020. The evening will include a silent auction as well as live music, food and drinks. Tickets, donation and an art preview can be found at sintaroartbash.com

    The event supports the town of Sintaro, Ethiopia via clean water, child education and community development. Significantly reducing communicable diseases and illiteracy, lifting these villagers out of poverty and reducing the possibility of child exploitation is a major goal of the organization.

    The Peasant & The Pear will be catering the Art Benefit Bash. In addition to live entertainment and an auction of remarkable gallery-worthy-art at discounted prices, luxury items, services and vacation packages will also be offered. Danville's Rachel Rolleri, a 17-year old Monte Vista high school student, who was a finalist on this season's "American Idol", will be the headliner entertainment.

    Pricing for the event will be discounted through the end of March at $100 per couple and $60 per person for the "March Madness" early-bird discount. Pricing will change to $125 per couple and $75 per person after March 31. Food, Wine, Beer and Live Music are all included with the admission.

    More than just a financial commitment, the strategy for Sintaro Village is to involve a wide range of people within CPC and the local community to contribute their time and talent in areas help to the people of Sintaro. While focusing their initial efforts on clean water, personal hygiene and education the most basic needs of villagers will be met. They have also established child sponsorship and community sponsorship programs. Sintaro Village 2020 is a seven-year commitment by CPC to transform the lives and hearts of villagers through education, clean water and community development.
