August 21, 2009 - The Simpsons Season 21, which premiers on September 27th, 2009, will feature guest appearances by Coldplay, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Sarah Silverman, The Smothers Brothers, the Manning Brothers, Far Side cartoonist Gary Larsen, Neve Campbell and the late Eartha Kitt. Jackie Mason will return as Krusty's dad Rabbi Krustofski.
The season premier, entitled Homer the Whopper, is the episode written by and staring Seth Rogen where Comic Book Guy creates a superhero and it gets turned into a movie featuring Homer. Other highlights include the 20th Treehouse of Horror and an episode where Homer and Marge take up curling: Simpsons Season 21
The Simpsons 20th Anniversery Special will air on January 14th, the 20th aniversery of the series debut: Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special in 3D on Ice
