Siam Park, The Water Kingdom, Will Open Its Doors For The First Time This Summer In Tenerife

Siam Park adds a whole new dimension to the leisure offering in the Canary Islands and will be opening its doors for the first time next summer. Siam Park will amaze everyone by rewriting the definition of a water park! It’s the most spectacular themed aquatic park in the whole of Europe, with the most up-to- date and exciting attractions, created with a touch of magic and stunning scenery.

(1888PressRelease) June 20, 2008 - The unique concept, exotic settings, natural landscapes and exquisite oriental design make it a major new development in tourism, to experience adventure, excitement and plenty of adrenalin. For rest and relaxation, Siam Park offers a wide range of options with its white sandy beach, stunning views, sub tropical gardens and a relaxing journey along the crystal clear waters of the tropical river.

The latest technology has been used behind the attractions and combines with the mystery of the ancient kingdom of Thailand, to transport visitors into a world of excitement and magic. Siam Park offers exclusive venues, to celebrate parties, events, barbecues and concerts and its own surf school where children and adults can learn the art of surfing.

Siam Park is right in the heart of the main resort area in Tenerife which means that no-one staying in the South can miss the impressive towers that guard the entrance. Coupled with the great year round sunshine the island is famous for, the location couldn’t be better.

As you enter the park there’s a warm welcome from the fun-loving sea lions, but this is just one of the fascinating surprises in the park. From the Floating Market to the Tea House; from the Beach Bar to the Thai Restaurant and from the wave pool to the dedicated play area for the kids, there’s a world of fun to discover. As well as all this, there is of course the slides and rides which make up the most spectacular collection in the world. The Tower of Power is strictly for the most adventurous, with a breath-taking 28 metre drop and a heart stopping finale, or the Vulcano where the darkness envelops you as the speed builds up and the spectacular laser show is revealed.

As Siam Park belongs to Loro Parque Group, the best quality is assured, as the company is internationally known for its high standards. The beautiful Thai architecture was created by Professor Ruetai, who came specially from Bangkok University to design all the buildings and sculptures, down to the last detail to make sure that everything has a real Thai feel, but being careful not to offend the Thai religion and beliefs.

From the unique slide designs incorporating dragons and laser shows, to the layout and composition of the 9,500 m2 beach, to the pumping and heating of the sea water that supplies the park, everything has been meticulously planned. A real difference in Siam Park is that the slides are set amongst lush sub tropical vegetation so they are almost camouflaged by the jungle-like scenery and therefore unlike other parks, where you can see all the metal supports and bases, this park leaves much more of the experience down to the imagination and heightens the mystery and surprise that await visitors.
