January 31, 2007 - Shotgunflat received the “Outstanding Achievement” award from Interactive Media Council, Inc. for their creation of the YWCA Cambridge website. The site was delivered by Creative Director, Mike McKenna; Designer Andrew Beeston and Developer Drew McKenna of shotgunflat.
The Interactive Media Council, a non-profit organization with the mission of raising the standards of excellence on the Internet, governs and is the main sponsor of the Interactive Media Awards competition. The competition is judged by 38 leaders of companies in a variety of industries including Microsoft and Time Warner to CBS Radio Digital Media Group and The New York Times.
The Interactive Media Awards judges evaluate each entrant upon five criteria: Design, Content, Feature Functionality, Usability and Standards Compliance. shotgunflat excelled in every category and “out-shined” the competition in their design of www.ywcacam.org
