October 23, 2009 - The trade data, provided by Shippers’ Voice partner MDS Transmodal, will become a new regular feature on the site, from a high level view to more detailed breakdown of specific commodity groups.
• Trade data, rotated every week, showing leading commodity tonnages
• Regional focus for both general articles and finding out what shippers’ representative councils in each region are doing and saying
• Upgraded search facilities, using a Tag Cloud
• Easier access to news, opinions, policies and insights that affect the transport industry
• The facility for people to opt for RSS feeds to pull in the latest content to their PC or website
The initial data is the latest quarter results of year on year change in the top eight traded commodity groups. (Only ‘portable computers’ shows an increase in volume compared with the same quarter last year.)

The overview data is available to everyone, whilst the more detailed information will be available only to those registered with the site. Registration is free – and quick.
