November 22, 2008 - Sharp has launched what is touted to be the world's largest 108-inch LCD Monitor,the LB 1085 in the Indian market. This mammoth measures 2,572 2021,550mm and weighs 195 kgs.
The LB 1085 is a Full HD 1080p LCD Monitor featuring an Advanced Super View LCD panel. It promises excellent picture quality with a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and 400-cd/m2 brightness. The large display area is nearly equivalent in size to two tatami mats (approx. 3.2 m2). It offers a response time of 6-ms and 176-degree viewing angle. The LB 1085 offers a variety of inputs, including HDMI and DVI-I connectors for connectivity with a wide variety of equipment and devices. In addition, it has a fan-less design that minimizes noise and intake of dust from outside air. The Sharp LB 1085 is priced at Rs 1,10,00,000.
