January 09, 2009 - Shade Systems is proud to announce it was recently awarded a multi-park shade project by the City of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
The City of Lake Charles was the recipient of a FEMA grant to rebuild their community after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. When Mayor Randy Roach and Parks Director Bruce Rigney began shopping for shade for their parks, aesthetics and functionality were chief among their concerns. Instead of just standard shade, an impressive and visually appealing effect was desired.
