June 07, 2008 - The Gift of Redemption, the second book in award winning author Celina Summers' The Asphodel Cycle, is released by Aspen Mountain Press on June 6,2008.
Following the success of The Reckoning of Asphodel will not be easy, After Asphodel shot to number one on the Fantasy Bestseller list last September, the author was worried about how Redemption would fare. Summers was particularly pleased when The Reckoning of Asphodel placed in the Top Ten of the Preditors & Editors annual readers' poll for Best Fantasy Novel of 2007.
The Gift of Redemption picks up where Asphodel left off, following the path of Tamsen as she learns to negotiate the complicated politics of the kingdom, learns how to wage war, and finally learns that if the gods are interested in what you're doing, it's probably not a good thing.
