June 23, 2009 - Atomic Design proudly announces the launch of a new and improved website for Monroe County’s Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, N.Y. Atomic Design was responsible for the design and programming of the new site.
The conservation mission of the Seneca Park Zoo is to strategically employ resources to engage, inspire and empower the Greater Rochester community and Zoo visitors to be more aware of and become involved in conservation of wild life and habitat. The new design is professional, modern and makes the online learning experience and ability to support the zoo easier for users.
Improvements to the site include the simplified search function, navigation, and an easy to find events calendar that makes the Zoo’s website a destination in itself. The home page features zoo facts about different animals, which change every time you visit the site. Information about the individual animals has been expanded, is more organized, and includes better quality images.
There is also added value for members. The site features a list of other zoos and aquariums where your membership to Seneca Park Zoo can offer benefits and discounts off admission, gift shop purchases, and parking. Patrons, who would like to donate, can find out how to support the zoo online.
