SeedSource.org Launches Eco-entertainment Conference In San Francisco

On June 1, 2008, SeedSource.org presents the first in a series of networking events for Arts & Entertainment industry professionals: SeedSource 1.0. The event will take place from 6:30PM - 2:00AM at Temple SF in San Francisco. Details are available at SeedSource.org.


(1888PressRelease) May 15, 2008 - San Francisco, CA, - On June 1, 2008, SeedSource.org presents the first in a series of networking events for Arts & Entertainment industry professionals: SeedSource 1.0. The event will be hosted by Temple SF, San Francisco's groundbreaking green nightclub (www.TempleSF.com/green).

SeedSource 1.0 focuses on Eco-Entertainment, with interactive presentations highlighting the latest innovations, tools and technology for 'greening' the industry. Special guests include Robin Schidlowski [SF Dept. of the Environment], Stephen Weisz (CEO - InTicketing), Mike Zuckermann (Sustainability Director - Temple SF), Donnie Oliveira (Special Event Coordinator - SF Conservation Corps), Zach Carson (Director - Sustainable Living Roadshow), and Jen Zariat (EcoGatherings / Cacao Media / Symbiosis).

Carey Thompson (Our Future Now) will be presenting a special 3D sneak preview of his new eco-art installation, ?The Stargate Portal' to be unveiled at the Rothbury Festival in Michigan later this summer.

SeedSource 1.0 will premiere the new SeedSource.org online directory for creative industry professionals (more info at www.SeedSource.org). Also featured at the event will be an Eco-Friendly Products and Services Faire, with local merchants offering information and free samples.

An afterhours reception will feature two rooms of live and electronic music, costumes, creations, and performance art. Featured artists include Beats Antique, Mozaic, Majitope, Shawna, Pedro, IXD, KnowSleep featuring Taylor Maidenspace, The Flying Skulls, Serpentfeathers, and more.

Online Registration for SeedSource 1.0 is $45 (www.seedsource.org/tickets). One tree will be planted for every ticket purchased online, sponsored by InTicketing (www.InTicketing.com). Day-of-Event registration will be available for $60. Tickets to the afterhours reception will be available for $10 after 9:30PM on the day of the event only. Media Passes available upon request.
