Raglin, Valerie D. Rojas, Robert E. Sacks and John T. Seybert to the firm's partnership effective January 1, 2013. The elevation of the seven litigators from its Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco offices demonstrates the firm's ongoing commitment to trial and litigation services.

    Cousineau (Los Angeles) concentrates her practice in complex insurance coverage matters and bad faith litigation. She represents major insurance companies in matters involving all types of commercial and personal insurance policies. She also represents agents and brokers in professional liability cases, and handles other general commercial litigation. She earned her J.D. (1984), cum laude, from Southwestern University School of Law and her B.A. (1981) from the University of California at Irvine.

    Dolendi (Chicago) provides litigation defense, coverage advice, risk analysis and reserve assessment on behalf of international and domestic insurers and reinsurers. His coverage litigation practice involves first-party property losses, third-party general liability claims and bad faith. He also represents agents, brokers and claims administrators in professional liability cases. He received his J.D. (2002), cum laude, from the John Marshall Law School. He earned his M.P.A. (1999) from Arizona State University and his B.S. (1994) from Illinois State University.

    Potente (San Francisco) represents insurers and reinsurers in complex commercial insurance litigation matters. His coverage litigation practice focuses on disputes pertaining to general liability, D&O, and professional liability policies, specifically extracontractual coverage for claims arising from advertising, environmental, product defect, and personal injury litigation as well as general commercial disputes. He has also represented parties in litigation arising from construction, patent infringement, employment and unfair competition disputes. He received his J.D. (1997), cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his B.A. (1993) from the University of Chicago.

    Raglin (San Francisco) focuses his practice on product liability, complex litigation and California's Proposition 65. His products practice includes the defense of medical device and pharmaceutical clients in a variety of state and federal litigation. He has been involved in defending national and international clients in significant pharmaceutical coordinated and multidistrict litigation, while also trying product liability cases pertaining to prescription pharmaceuticals and medical devices. His practice includes the counseling and defense of government and corporate clients in both complex and class action tort litigation. He earned his J.D. (1995) from the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall) and his B.A. (1992), cum laude, from the University of California at Riverside.

    Rojas (Los Angeles) concentrates her practice on investigating and litigating fidelity bond claims and directors and officers liability insurance claims. She earned her J.D. (1995) from Southwestern University School of Law and her B.A. (1992) from California State University, San Bernardino.

    Sacks (Fort Lauderdale) focuses his practice on helping international manufacturers and vertical transportation service companies with litigation involving general liability, product liability, commercial matters, construction defect, delay and lien claims. He also represents numerous commercial enterprises, land developers and individuals in litigation, arbitration and negotiated resolutions involving claims for negligence, breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, wrongful death, toxic torts, breach of warranties/product failure and code compliance natters. He earned his J.D. (2000), cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and his B.A. (1997), cum laude, from the University of Florida.

    Seybert (New York) provides litigation defense on behalf of insurance and healthcare clients. He has represented insurers in hundreds of state and federal court actions arising out of benefits claims under group and individual plans involving ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FEHBA, Medicare and Medicaid. Seybert has successfully defended insurance clients against claims for disability income, life insurance, medical services and pharmaceutical benefits. He has also successfully defended insurance companies in class action lawsuits involving breach of ERISA fiduciary duty and ERISA benefit claims. He earned his J.D.
