January 01, 2009 - Voting is now open for the Second Annual OSC Industry Awards and Online Store Design Contest. Anyone who owns, manages or designs a ecommerce store using a program in the open source commerce family can enter.
The OSC family includes osCommerce, The osCommerce Project, Magento, PrestaShop, Zen Cart, OSC-MAX, Cube Cart, CRE Loaded and CartXpress as well as custom versions and any commerce program that is open source.
Industry awards are given to the Best OSC Program, Contribution, Forum, Web Pro, Credit Card Processor, Web Templates, and Best Web Host. Voters answer a few questions about their experience so the winners are judged by objective criteria, not just a popularity contest.
The Online Store Design Contest is open to owners of all online stores in the osCommerce family. There are 8 design categories for all skill levels, so even a novice store owner has a chance of winning.
Prizes include a Wii console, free ecommerce manuals, free store software and templates valued at thousands of dollars.

Deadline for all entries is January 30, 2009. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded on February 15, 2009.
