August 12, 2008 - Sea Ray Boats, Inc. recently recognized Russo Marine in Medford, MA as an “Ambassador Dealer;” the highest recognition that Sea Ray awards its dealers. It is a very rare and prestigious award based on a comprehensive evaluation by Sea Ray that considers all aspects of its dealer operation including sales, service, and quality of facilities, to name a few.
“We could not be prouder of the level of customer satisfaction and commitment that have earned us an Ambassador Dealer award,” says owner Larry Russo, Sr. “Not very many dealerships receive this award, so this truly is an honor.” Ambassador Dealers must meet at least 95 percent of Master Dealer point requirements plus special requirements demonstrating their commitment to Sea Ray owners and overall market performance. In order to qualify, dealers voluntarily agree to meet a set of demanding customer-care and operational standards. Then they take on self-improvement efforts to meet those standards, and submit to yearly on-site evaluations by an independent consultant.
Dealers must achieve high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores, and are required to demonstrate a commitment to customers in 109 criteria covering all aspects of their business. This includes everything from cleanliness of facility to customer service post-sale. CSI questionnaires are sent out twice a year to thousands of Sea Ray owners, which help to determine whether they will become Master or Ambassador Dealers.
