Hundreds of Scrye and GamingReport.com readers from around the globe cast their votes for their favorite game releases in 2007. Unlike many industry awards, the field for each category was wide open - voters weren’t presented a narrow list of nominees. The choices were up to players, and a large number of different games received votes.
The winners are:
Favorite new collectible game: Halo ActionClix, WizKids.
Favorite new collectible game expansion: Legend of the Five Rings, Alderac. Entertainment Group.
Favorite new miniatures game: Halo ActionClix, WizKids.
Favorite new card game: Munchkin Cthulhu, Steve Jackson Games.
Favorite new board game: Last Night on Earth, Flying Frog Productions.
Favorite new role-playing game: Legend of the Five Rings, Emerald Empire, Aldreac.

Favorite new electronic game: Halo 3, Microsoft.
