Politicians Join Hikind In Decrying Human Rights Violations Of Jacob Ostreicher.
New York, NY (1888PressRelease) July 04, 2012 - A Press Confrence organized by Dov Hikind was held in NYC today near the Bolivian mission to the UN to voice frustration and outrage of an innocent man held in a Bolivian prison for a year. Jacob Ostreicher, a local Brooklyn businessman, has been jailed in Bolivia on the suspicion of money laundering but it's been a year since his arrest and he has not been charged with any wrong doing. Speaking at the press conference were Freeda Schwartz (Jacob's sister), Miriam Ungar (Jacob's wife), Assemblyman Dov Hikind and Senator Charles Schumer.
