March 19, 2009 - This event is open to School District 105 parents and will be held at Gurrie Middle School Library, 1001 S. Spring Avenue, LaGrange, IL 60525 @ 7:30 PM. District 105 Staff and community members are also welcome and encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
According to the National Crime Prevention Center, over 40% of all teenagers with Internet access have reported being bullied online during the past year. Do you know what cyber bullying is? Do you know where it takes place? Want simple solutions on how to prevent this? Internet safety and cyber bullying is not only about kids. It also effect adults; companies lose productivity when users are not being cyber safe.
Come learn about internet safety and cyber bullying prevention. We also offer workshops for teachers that offer CPDU credits about bill 2512. We also present workshops for businesses to learn about internet safety and proper communication with electronic media.
