March 23, 2007 - Kathy Stubbs, CCIM, CPM, principle of Investor Management Group, LLC, sponsored a luncheon on Sunday, March 4th for supporters of Las Vegas Teen Crisis, a local nonprofit organization committed to providing prevention and awareness to our community’s teens and families.
In attendance were community leaders such as Amie Jo Greer who hosts Corner4Success with Amie Jo on KLAV, 1230AM. Amie Jo, who is devoted to “giving back” to the community said, “This is my passion too!” and recognized the direct alignment between her nonprofit, a club that is designed to teach young women life skills, which are generally not being taught in the home or by the public school system, with that of Las Vegas Teen Crisis which is committed to providing prevention and awareness training for teens and families experiencing breakdown caused by a myriad of issues such as drug abuse, divorce, anger issues, etc.
Stubbs, the cause supporter said, “These programs supported by Las Vegas Teen Crisis were instrumental for me in learning to deal accountably and honestly with issues within my home and family. I had to seek outside of Las Vegas for this program at a substantial cost. I support their efforts of bringing these programs to our local community in a way that everyone can experience!”
