December 05, 2007 - Henry and Dundie Schulte of the Dos Pueblos Ranch Located in Goleta, CA presented Operation Family Fund with a check for $5,000 at the December 1, 2007 event. Santa Barbara Harley-Davidson with special guest Dr. Laura Schlessinger, sponsored the motorcycle show and family fun day. 100% of the money raised will go to benefit the families of our troops who have been injured or killed in action.
"The goal of Operation Family Fund is to bring hope to the devastated families of those who have paid the ultimate price of death or disability for our freedom,” stated Mike Cash, Founder and CEO of Operation Family Fund. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to build awareness of our organization and to help more families with financial grants for transitioning to their new circumstances and again regaining financial self-sufficiency,” Cash added.
