Newly Founded Berlin Society For Intercultural Dialog Organises A Europe-China Encounter In Beijing And Qingdao
The mayor of the Chinese capital Beijing and of the north-eastern port city of Qingdao welcomed the newly founded Berlin Society for Intercultural Dialog with their first Autumn Symposium concerning Shifts in Values and Sustainability. Subsequent to the Beijing Olympic Games the Society for Intercultural Dialogue based in Berlin will organise an interdisciplinary encounter between European and Asian businessmen and scientists. For reasons concerning public security, the Chinese authorities have decided to ban all events which should have taken place during the Olympic Games. The 4-day-symposium now will take place in September.
