October 11, 2007 - SYDNEY, – Samsung Electronics Australia today announces the arrival of the CLP-350N colour laser printer. The smart and compact printer delivers fast, high-quality colour printouts ideal for home, small and medium sized businesses (SMB). Samsung is reinforcing its current global leadership position in colour laser by adding this entry-level device to its product range.
“The CLP-300/CLP-300N created an entry-level colour laser category, and positioned us as the leading manufacturer. The CLP-350N is the printer for those who wanted the CLP-300/CLP-300N, but required that little bit extra for their home and office,” said Kristie Radtke, Product Manager – Print Solutions, Samsung Electronics Australia.
“By comparison the CLP-350N now offers faster printing speeds, a second paper cassette for bigger capacity and double the memory size with an option to upgrade further when people are using large file size documents. The toner cartridges are also double the size making this printer the perfect choice for small business environments where a reliable yet intelligent colour printer is paramount,” continues Kristie.
The CLP-350N offers enhanced economy with its increased toner capacity yield, capable of printing 4,000 pages in black & white and 2,000 pages in colour, with each cartridge. Samsung’s unique bottle shape toners are affordable and easily replaceable to provide the end-user with an all-round cost efficient print solution. The CLP-350N is also network ready, enabling it to accommodate additional users as the business expands.
The Samsung colour laser printer delivers vibrant and glossy colour prints with a 2,400 x 600 dpi resolution, and supports both Postscript3 and PCL6 emulation in standard operation. For improved consumer convenience, Samsung offers an increased paper input capacity of 250 extra sheets with a second cassette feeder and additional 128MB memory. Samsung have also increased the page speed of the CLP-350N to print 19 pages per minute in monochrome and five pages per minute in colour. The CLP-350N’s compact size does not limit or compromise its impressive print quality.
The Samsung CLP-350N is available from 10th October, and has a $599.00 RRP.
