The second Digital Still Camera range introduced since taking the distribution in-house, the NV Series is a camera for enthusiasts who are used to the absolute best. As a flagship model, The NV Series combines a premium quality Schneider-KREUZNACH lens with convenient a Smart Touch LCD screen to present absolute luxury in a camera.

Smart Touch LCD Screen – Unique to Samsung, the Smart Touch 2.5-inch LCD screen allows consumers to quickly and easily navigate through a simple, intuitive menu system.
Premium Quality Lens – A hallmark of the NV Series is the premium quality Schneider-KREUZNACH lens. Offering greater resolution to the edge of the lens, the NV Series lenses are multi-coated to reduce “ghosting” for more natural-looking pictures. The NV8 contains an 8.1-megapixel lens, the NV15 a 10.1-megapixel lens and the NV20 a 12.1-megapixel lens. All cameras in this range come with 3x optical zoom lens.
TV quality MPEG Movie Mode with Sound – Each model in the NV series is capable of capturing television quality MPEG4 files at 30 frames-per-second. Movies can be edited in the camera itself giving every aspiring filmmaker an easy to use camcorder in the palm of their hand.
Fast Advanced Shake Reduction – To improve the quality of photographs taken on the NV Series, Samsung has included a fast Advanced Shake Reduction (ASR) function on all models. The ASR function allows consumers to take photographs without blurring, even in low-light conditions.
Face Recognition Software – This feature recognises up to nine different faces in a subject, enabling perfect pictures of friends and family. In addition, it automatically adjusts focus and brightness to optimum levels.
To take consistently high-quality photographs, the NV Series also includes an Auto Contrast Balance (ACB) function to compensate for image brightness and an automatic red-eye fix function. The addition of a multi-charging system means that travellers can charge the NV Series’ Lithium Ion battery via a USB connection for increased portability. The NV Series also provides consumers with powerful internal memory and an ISO equivalent of 3200 to allow for the best quality photographs in low light.
