October 25, 2008 - Sahara Care House, which provides more than 60 Support & Care Services to its members in India and to the families of its NRI members, today presented seven cars and other coveted prizes to the winners of a contest held for its members, at a family Carnival event, Samagam 2008, at Pushpanjali in New Delhi.
The special celebratory event comprised of a series of exciting events including a thrilling evening to commemorate the festive season. To make this special occasion particularly meaningful, a contest for members of Sahara Care House was organized. The winners of the contest were felicitated in a recognition ceremony where the prizes were handed over. The Carnival was marked with an evening of fun and food for Sahara Care House members and their families.
The Carnival was attended by 2500 guests, which included 1500 members of Sahara Care House and 1000 other invitees. The Sahara Care house team was represented by Mr. Romi Datta, CEO, Sahara Care House and Mr. Devesh Siwal, COO, who addressed the gathering and interacted with all the members and invitees. The event was the first in a series of 18 such mega events which will be organized in 10 other cities in forthcoming months. The carnivals are being organised with the express aim of rewarding members of Sahara Care who have made the maximum purchase of Sahara Care Services.

The Carnival also provided a social and networking forum for Sahara Care House Members. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of gifts ranging from household items to plasma TVs and many other exciting items. Topping the list of the reward items were two Hyundai Verna’s and five Maruti-Suzuki Alto’s.
Accepting the keys to his Verna, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan said, “I am a proud member of the Sahara Care House family. I am delighted to have won the coveted Hyundai Verna in the prize contest and I hope to have many years of association with Sahara Care House.” The second winner of the Verna, Mr. Hemkant Grewal, of Jabalpur city was also presented with the car. Another five members won the Maruti Alto.
The event also served as a sales point for introduction of the business module to potential members of Sahara Care House. It will be conducting a series of such events to sign up new members and make them a part of the Sahara Care House family.
The contest-winners gift presentation ceremony was followed by a fun filled evening of food and entertainment, for the members and their invitees.
