May 19, 2007 - We are looking for show stopper creations that contain originality, creativity, oh and they must taste as good, if not better, than look it looks.
Sagra Cooking will host a recipe contest that is full of great tasting food and lots of chef personality. Not your ordinary recipe contest, finalists will prepare their dish before a live audience at Sagra Cooking Saturday, June 23. A panel of judges will select the winner based on taste, originality and presentation. The audience will also have a chance to vote for their favorite too. Guests will sample the finalist dishes (prepared in advance by the staff at Sagra Cooking) then cast their vote.
Winners will receive a basket of prizes and cash 1st Prize $100, 2nd Prize $50 and 3rd Prize $25; visit our Special Event page for complete details. The grand prize winner will also be hired as a Guest Chef at Sagra Cooking to teach others how create his/her favorite recipes.
This event is part of our The Next Food Network Star Sweepstakes taking place May 26 thru Saturday, June 16. Visit Sagra Cooking between May 26 and June 16 to enter this sweepstakes where you and a guest will win a star-studded trip to New York City which includes transportation and accommodations, VIP tickets to The Next Food Network Star grand finale, Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, other prizes and $1000 in cash. Your in-store entry at Sagra Cooking also makes you eligible for local prizes on display during the contest period. Winners of the local Sagra Cooking prize drawing will also be announced during our Sagra Network Star Recipe Contest, Saturday, June 23 5-8pm.
To Enter: No purchase necessary. Contestants can enter Sagra Network Star (the “Contest”) by submitting their favorite, show stopper recipe with exact measurements in order they are used and complete preparation directions, name, address, email address and daytime and evening phone numbers. Sagra Cooking reserves the right to change or cancel the Contest at any time. Sagra Cooking is not responsible for entries that are lost, stolen, late, misdirected, mutilated, tampered with or arrive postage due. Entries are void if incomplete, not legible or if they contain errors. All submissions become the property of Sagra Cooking and will not be returned.
