May 16, 2008 - S Westwood is the author of 'Suicide Junkie' his autobiography living and surviving body dysmorphic disorder, borderline personality disorder, self harm and suicide. He works to break the stigma of mental health problems and especially to raise awareness of body dysmorphic disorder the condition he suffered for 15 years before being diagnosed.
BDD is a mental disorder that makes you believe that you are hideously ugly when the flaw is either small or nonexistent. It seriously affects your life and can lead to depression and suicide. Borderline personality disorder itself has symptoms of depression, self harm and suicide attempts.
