October 03, 2009 - S&S Northern is celebrating a successful HEVAR Show which took place in London on 23rd September, after receiving a record number of enquiries via demonstrations of the company’s latest innovation, The Specwizard, which claims to dramatically shorten engineer time required to generate specification documentation.
The Specwizard is a software application that generates a full specification upon input of product requirements, with prices being emailed directly to the buyer. By asking a few simple questions, it selects appropriate products for the job, saving hours of searching through catalogues.
According to S&S Director Steve McMahon, Design Engineers and contract workers were keen to test The Specwizard, “The launch of The Specwizard was really popular with visitors to the stand, with many testing it out to see how it works. It’s a first in our industry and revolutionises the way engineers work, saving hours of wasted time and money, so we were delighted with its popularity at the show.”
The company also gave away a Nano Ipod to lucky winner Chris Hartwell from City of London Council, after a prize draw for those registering an interest in The Specwizard.
