Russell Bedford re-launches in Brazil
Appointment of Valuconcept Group marks a new start for Russell Bedford's Brazilian national network.
- (1888PressRelease) November 08, 2016 - Global professional services group Russell Bedford has announced the re-launch of its Brazilian national network, beginning with the appointment of the Curitiba-based Valuconcept Group as the new member in the Southern Region (States of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul).
The new firm is headed by Wesley Montechiari Figueira, a former partner in Russell Bedford's previous Curitiba member firm, and a former board member of Russell Bedford International.
ValuConcept was established in 2002, originally as a business consulting and valuation firm. For several years it was affiliated with one of the larger international networks, but demerged in 2015.
It has now grown to have business units in the fields of auditing, BPO (accounting, tax and payroll), corporate finance, valuation and consulting and claims adjustments.
With eight partners and more than 50 professionals in the fields of business administration, accounting and IT, ValuConcept provides services in management consulting, transaction advisory services, audit and tax to both national and international corporate clients.
Headquartered in Curitiba, Paraná, the firm has recently added a new office via a merger in Jaraguá do Sul, Santa Catarina. It also has a branch office in São Paulo.
