October 23, 2009 - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) provides its handheld HF RFID reader operating at a frequency of 13.56MHz. This RFID-enabled multi-functional mobile computing device is widely used in the warehouse, on the manufacturing line, or anywhere asset tracking is required.
The compact and light weight reader is an ideal tool for workforce deployment. It is provided with either a 26 key or a 41 key alpha-numeric keypad and can be further optionally tailored for a specific application. This RFID reader features 128MB SRAM, 128MB internal FLASH and a user accessible SD card slot for additional mass storage.
GAO RFID Inc.'s high frequency (HF) RFID reader, model 243003, has four different configurations for selection and provides audio feedback, a color display with touch screen, Bluetooth, barcode scanning, and RFID capabilities. The portable RFID reader is encapsulated within an ABS/Polycarbonate blend plastic case which offers extreme resilience to environmental stresses and a wide variety of chemical substances; it is IP65 rated for protection against dust and water. When equipped with its optional 4000mAh battery, the reader functions in the field for a long time.
