  • St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) September 29, 2010 - RubinBrown recently formed a new Life Sciences Services Group and appointed Felicia Malter, CPA (photo at http://budurl.com/Malter) as partner-in-charge. Jim Mather, CPA (photo at http://budurl.com/Mather), also was recently named partner-in-charge of the firm's Manufacturing and Distribution Services Group. John Herber, CPA, managing partner, made both announcements.

    Malter, who also serves as a partner in RubinBrown's Assurance Services Group, provides comprehensive audit and business consulting services to a broad range of clients, from start-up private ventures to Fortune 500 publicly-traded corporations. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). She also serves on the accounting and auditing committee of the North America Region of BakerTilly International. Recognized among the St. Louis Business Journal's 40 under 40 in 2008, Malter also was named an experienced leader in the MSCPA's Women-to-Watch that same year. Malter is a board member of St. Louis Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Jewish Community Center of St. Louis. She earned her accounting degree from Indiana University.

    Mather, who serves RubinBrown clients in manufacturing and distribution, hospitality, construction and real estate industries, is a member of RubinBrown's Assurance Services Group and previously led the firm's Hospitality and Gaming Services Group. He is a member of AICPA, MSCPA, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (currently serves as president of the St. Louis Chapter), Associated Industries of Missouri, and the Missouri Motel and Lodging Association. A graduate of the Leadership Clayton program, Mather is a former treasurer and board member of the St. Louis Ronald McDonald House Charities and is a past council member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ. He earned his accounting degree from Central Methodist University.
