March 26, 2008 - The 2008 Sequoia is the largest SUV from Toyota till date. It has been redesigned for 2008. It comes with a choice of two engines– a 5.7-liter V8 that has an output of 381 horsepower, and a 4.7-liter V8 that has 276 horsepower. The Sequoia can tow up to 10,000 pounds. Some of its features include keyless entry, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, and cruise control.
The 2009 Corolla is available in four trims— Base, LE, XLE, S and XRS. These come with a choice of two engines— a 1.8-liter Inline-4, 132 hp and a 2.4-liter, Inline 4, 158 hp. The number of standard safety features has been enhanced for this year’s model. It is now more powerful with its four-cylinder engine.
For 2009, the Matrix gets a redesign and a choice of two engine levels. Like the Corolla, its engines are a 1.8-liter, Inline-4, 132 hp and a 2.4-liter, Inline 4, 158 hp. The transmissions are 4-speed and 5-speed. Its models— Base, S and SRX— have standard 16-inch wheels and optional 17 and 18-inch aluminum-rimmed wheels. Anti-lock brakes, side-curtain airbags, side impact airbags for the front seats and active front head restraints are some of the standard safety features.
