February 05, 2008 - Rosalia, WA—Rosalia Health Clinic (RHC), a small rural clinic located in Whitman County, just south of Spokane, WA is celebrating their one year of health care and servicing patients on February 15th. In the spirit of continued growth, Rosalia Health Clinic also launches their website, www.rosaliaclinic.com, in hopes to reach out even more to their current patients as well as engage interactions with new ones and also prepare for fundraising and grant writing to obtain an X-Ray for the clinic.
“When patients visit the Rosalia Health Clinic they are greeted with a smile and immediately feel at home. The clinic’s patients are always in a place of comfort and warmth…” stated Chelsey Fanara, Rosalia Health Clinic’s office administrator, the designer of the new website, www.rosaliaclinic.com. When asked, “Why the need for a website?” Chelsey replied, “Even though we’re located in a rural area, that doesn’t mean our patients or potential patients don’t take advantage of the internet. It just gives us another avenue to share with people about our clinic and the care they can receive here.”
Jodie Struble, the medical assistant at Rosalia Health Clinic was asked, what has been the best thing over the past year working at the clinic in Rosalia? Her response, “You know, I really think it’s important that we have a local clinic in Rosalia and we wouldn’t be successful if it weren’t for our loyal patients. I want to make sure and thank everyone for their support, and to answer your question, the best thing, again, is our patients.”
RHC specializes in great patient care and the ARNP, Susan V Small, better known as Susie, spends the quality time that is needed with her patients and is dedicated to their needs and health care. Along with being a Primary Care Practitioner, Susie provides, but not limited too: Well Baby & Child Check Ups, Woman’s & Men’s Health, Issues & Exams, Immunizations For All Ages, Diagnoses & Manages Chronic Health Conditions, Prescribes Medication & Educates Her Patients, Orders & Reads Tests, Sports Physicals, DOT’s, L & I Claims or On The Job Injuries, Minor ER: Stitches, Eye Foreign Bodies etc.
When asked what would be the clinics next step, Susie Small, ARNP replied quickly, “To find funding for an X-Ray machine. We hope to locate grants and have them written up and submitted, do some fundraising and of course we’ll be accepting any private donations.” Susie continued, “The nearest X-Ray machine is over 35 minutes away. We already have a room dedicated to the X-Ray machine here at the clinic and having an X-Ray in Rosalia would provide a much needed service to our patients.”
“I know one thing-this clinic has good girls, a good doctor-good everything! If you come to this clinic you’ll be helped out and taken care of.” exclaimed Mike Day, long time resident of Rosalia when asked what he thought of Rosalia Health Clinic.
Rosalia Health Clinic was established in February 2007 and accepts most insurances and new patients. If patients have no insurance, RHC provides low-cost office visit fees. Walk-ins are welcomed, but appointments are suggested. To make an appointment, call 509-523-4950. You can read more on the clinic at www.rosaliaclinic.com.
