Rome, GA Butterfly Life Franchise Helps Community through Toys for Tots and Support Our Troops Programs

(1888PressRelease) November 06, 2007 - ROME, Georgia – Butterfly Life Club owners Michael and Betty Motes, are dedicated to helping women live a healthier lifestyle by operating Butterfly Life, a first-of-its-kind revolutionary new 30-minute fitness franchise designed specifically for women to achieve a healthier overall body and mind. In addition, the couple is using their club throughout the holiday season to give back to the community.

Their club, located at 3874 Martha Berry Hwy. is an official drop off site for Toys for Tots. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The Motes’ enthusiasm to get Toys for Tots program in their club has sparked the interest in several other Butterfly Life club owners throughout the US – Jacksonville, Florida 6 clubs in North Carolina –Clayton, Holly Springs, Raleigh, 3 clubs in Cary and 2 clubs in California – Folsom and Mountain View. Participating in the Toys for Tots drive motivated the Motes to help the troops out even more.

In the month of November, they have a special promotion that is dedicated to support our troops. Each new member will pay a special enrollment of $39. The entire amount will go toward making care packages for troops over seas. “In our club alone we have husbands, sons, grandsons, brothers, boyfriends and nephews, not to mention friends,” said Betty. “While talking with these marines, we found out that we have a local troop of marines in Iraq and a local troop of Army in Afghanistan.” Since then Betty has ordered a 3x5 banner flag that says Support Our Troops and hanging in her club for every one to sign. “Our regular members are also excited about this and the donations were already coming in before November,” said Betty.

People in the community have been so thankful to have a business in Rome that cares so much for others,” said Rome Chamber of Commerce member, Thom Holt. “Butterfly Life is not just another business. They do care about their members and they support our community in many ways.”
