Romantic Gets His Engagement Ideas Online From Friends And Family

A South Florida man started his journey of engagement and marriage with his friends and family online. Originally the site was designed to be a forum just for his friends and family to help with his proposal planning. This turned into much more.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (1888PressRelease) April 29, 2008 - Daniel Pooler of Fort Lauderdale, FL has asked his true love Laura Jicka to marry him. Hoping for the surprise of the century, he started an online forum to get the assistance of all his friends and family. What became a small website with just a few links has become much more with over 100 members to date. He renamed the site ourweddingproposal.com from laurasproposal.com to help gain attention of other romantics in search of the perfect proposal. http://www.ourweddingproposal.com is the romantics forum to help guide you with the perfect proposal.

A six month journey from a "start up" website with only a few ideas to over 500 pages worth of suggestions and assistance. Daniel Pooler finally had his perfect proposal. With over 100 suggestions from "keeping it between the two of you" to a "journey halfway around the world" Dan had to keep it simple but keeping it in tune with his personality he'd have a few twists.

On the site you'll read about one romantic trying to make this such a perfect day but couldn't quite get it together. Then the perfect plan finally came into place.

Once that day came, everything fell apart! Dan has kept the site online hoping to help others that will have problems arise just like his. Anyone can join the site and ask their own questions. In fact there is also a section available to create your own forum and start your own site just like he did.

Dan started adding more and more sections to the forum including an area where he could write to his loved one. He kept an online journal with about 50 topics keeping track of his progress. From the day he started this online journal he logged entries about twice a week, including where he was on his proposal, little things that came up, etc. and did this to show his love how much he worked at it and how important the proposal was to him.

Although there were a few bumps in the road, the engagement was a success and the hard work going into the site was worth it.

This one South Florida romantic started this site in hopes of getting some help from family and friends, but ended getting help halfway around the world. The power of the internet is mentioned in a lot in articles everywhere, this is one example of the power that can be obtained by using it.
