April 15, 2006 - ROK, the UK-based developer of mobile content-delivery technology, who have already launched the world’s first mass-market 2.5G mobile TV service to play full-screen on handsets announced today it has augmented it’s portfolio of entertainment on it’s content-loaded memory card offering, ROK Player.
Available exclusively online at www.rokplayer.com for the next month, before relase into selected phone retailers, the new titles include the hugely popular BBC TV comedies Little Britain, The Office and The League of Gentlemen as well as 4 brand new episodes of South Park and a new music video album featuring such artists as Stereophonics, Paul Weller and Bloc Party.
ROK Player will launch the first of their US portfolio of titles in May this year.
ROK Player ‘chips’ are compatible with a broad range of smartphones and play full-screen at 24 frames per second.
