October 31, 2009 - Rock Da 80's Celebrity Halloween Jam is hosted by veteran Hollywood producer and scribe Bentley Kyle Evans (Producer JAMIE FOXX SHOW, co-executive Producer, MARTIN, etc…), who will be celebrating this Halloween with his personal celebrity friends and sexy upscale party-goers looking for a good time at a tucked away location in the Hollywood hills known as Castle Ivar. The fun begins at 9pm and continues until 2 am. Tickets are $30 for general admission and $50 VIP which includes food and drinks. A free shuttle service located at Sunset Blvd. & Argyle Ave. (next to Pantages Theatre) will transport guests to and from the private mansion throughout the evening.
There will be a costume contest featuring celebrity judge Tatyana Ali and gift bag giveaways throughout the night as DJ Damu spins the hottest 80's tunes that will get you amped up and transform you back to when times were bangin', you were buggin' and life was bitchin'!!! The evening will feature 3 levels of entertainment including music, dancing, a costume contest and an awesome rooftop with panoramic views that overlook Tinseltown. Wicked libations and crazy concoctions will be flowing all night from 3 bars and a VIP section sponsored by Tres Generaciones premium tequila offering complimentary cocktails along with a bountiful buffet and delectible dessert trays.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Modest Needs Foundation (www.modestneeds.org). Modest Needs exists to prevent otherwise financially self-sufficient individuals and families from entering the cycle of poverty, when this might be avoided with a small amount of well-timed financial assistance; to restore the financial self-sufficiency of individuals who are willing to work but are temporarily unable to do so because they do not have the means to remit payment for a work-related expense; to empower permanently disadvantaged individuals who otherwise live within their limited means to continue to live independently, despite a temporary, unexpected financial set-back; and to strengthen small non-profit organizations by providing a forum whereby such organizations can apply directly to the general public for the help they need to complete the relatively inexpensive projects that will allow them to better serve their clients and the communities they exist to serve.
