November 04, 2009 - Actor Robert Lawrenson has joined the cast of the hit SyFy series Sanctuary. Lawrenson’s character, Declan Macrae, is the leader of the Sanctuary in England. Sanctuary episode 4, Hero, marked his first appearance in the series and introduced viewers to his character. Robert will star again in episode 7, airing on the SyFy Channel and the Space Channel on November 20th, 2009. This episode of Sanctuary also marks the series directing debut of lead actor Amanda Tapping (Dr. Helen Magnus).
Mr. Lawrenson’s extensive resume includes a recurring role on the long running hit UK television series, Coronation Street, as well as guest appearances on UK shows such as Emmerdale and Doctors. Robert can also be seen guest starring in a recent episode of CW’s Smallville, opposite Tom Welling and Allison Mack.
