August 19, 2009 - Dr. Robert J. Zehr, of the Zehr Center for Orthopaedics in Naples, FL, will be giving a seminar at North Collier Hospital on August 22, 2009 at 10 a.m.
The topics of the speaking engagement include what arthritic sufferers can do to help themselves avoid having surgery; and for those whose time has come, the most advanced techniques in surgical care and recovery for arthritis in the hip and knee will be presented. Specifically, he will discuss the direct anterior approach to hip replacement and patient-customized alignment of total knee replacement.
These techniques are on the cutting edge of surgical skill, which few surgeons have mastered. Dr. Zehr is currently the only orthopaedic surgeon in southwest FL currently providing these advanced techniques to his patients.
