August 30, 2008 - Ro, also known as the Soul Diamond, signs a distribution deal with Go Large Records International, LLC (Go Large Records). The upcoming R&B artist has been labeled by many as “The Leader Of The New School of Old School R&B” and is setting the pace for industry success.
Early this year, Ro released his first hit entitled “Messenger” that has brought him fans from all over the world that incessantly ask for more. Astonishingly, his fans are from every genre of music including country, rock, and hip hop, presenting him as one of the most diversified R&B singers found today.
In May of 2008, Ro was asked by Southern Hip Hop Sensation, Southern Wreck, to collaborate for his latest album “Ballin’ At It’z Best”. With Ro’s talent and Southern Wreck’s unique southern sound, the two artists created “Bounce” and “I Got What You Need”. As soon as the song was released, DJ’s from within multiple markets started playing “Bounce” at a shocking rate.
“We set a goal two and a half years ago to impact the world with Ro’s brand of timeless music and now it looks like we’ve finally made a huge leap forward to seeing that happen,” says Patrick Whitney, Ro’s entrepreneurial manager. “I have had the belief factor in Ro since day one and now I have that same belief in Go Large Records, so now there should be nothing stopping us.”

Expect to see Ro participate in the Go Large Records northeast promotional tour beginning towards the end of this year. The Go Large Tour will span from Boston to Washington, DC and will feature Ro as one of the best R&B artists within today’s music.
