April 22, 2008 - At the end of February RIG were visited by the Recruitment Employment Confederation (REC are the UK’s main body for the regulation of recruitment agencies). To date only a little over 100 agencies hold the accreditation, next to none operate in RIG’s chosen markets.
In preparation for the audit RIG submitted all of their legal documentation to the REC for analysis. On the first day the auditor reviewed: Internal employee files, policies, procedures and health and safety arrangements.
Day two the auditor reviewed: Credit control, contract paperwork, bookings and took an in-depth look at RIG’s temp and permanent recruitment process. The extent to which RIG referenced candidates and ensured they were compliant was of significant importance. The auditor also reviewed the database and system of document storage.
Within a few weeks RIG were informed that we had passed the audit. Andrew Langley the MD of RIG Energy Stated: “It is rare for such a specialist agency to get this level of endorsement. One of our core values is professionalism and such approval is a credit to our staff and testament to the level of service quality we seek to deliver to our clients”
